The Ontario Ombudsman has initiated an investigation into the ongoing issues of CASs/Child Wellbeing agencies needing to place, and supervise, youth in motels/hotels/trailers /agency offices.
Recently, Robyn Bresnahan of CBC Radio, interviewed former child and youth advocate, Irwin Elman, about the issue this morning. Highland Shores CAS Executive Director, Jess Uddenberg, speaks at the beginning of the segment which was an excerpt from a previous interview.
