Caring for Ontario’s children and youth in need of protection is a team effort. There are many child welfare professionals involved in keeping children safe and fulfilling the mandate of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act. Child welfare professionals, child and youth workers, support and administrative staff work together with the children, their families, adoptive and foster families as well as volunteers, contributing to improving the quality of life for the children and families of our community.
