Children’s Aid Societies across the province recognize October as Child Abuse Prevention Month. The month is marked by the purple ribbon. In support of this initiative, CASs in Ontario have designated Wednesday, October 24th as Dress Purple Day. As a sign of solidarity for the prevention of child abuse and neglect, we encourage you to wear a purple ribbon this month or purple clothing and/or accessories on October 24th in support of prevention.
